Do you offer a health guarantee for puppies? Each puppy is guaranteed to be healthy when it leaves here. They are vet checked and have a current fecal test to check for internal parasites and leukocytes that could indicate a potential issue or abnormality. Each puppy receives their first round of immunizations at 7 weeks, and we explain to each owner their responsibility in keeping the puppy healthy, including what vaccines are needed next and when, how to be careful about exposure to other dogs, puppy parks, pet stores, etc. until the puppy is fully vaccinated. We also encourage getting an appointment with their vet of choice within a couple days/weeks of receiving a puppy. With each puppy go home pack we include information on promotional puppy health insurance and buyer can participate in that if they wish to do so.
-
What is the go-home date for puppies?Puppies are usually ready to go home 8 weeks after birth. Puppies need time to nurse, grow and develop with their mother and littermates before they can join their new families. A newborn puppy should stay with their breeder, mom, and siblings as they develop physically and gain new social skills alongside their brothers and sisters. The age a puppy can go home depends on the breed, and even the individual, but generally is around two months.

How are the dogs registered?Mom and dad are registered through the AKC. Puppies are able to be registered through the AKC as limited rights registration. This means they are pets only and cannot be bred, and if pups are produced those puppies cannot be registered through the AKC.
